“How many feet range does this have out of the box with the viper fob that it comes with? It seems that there is a lot of contradicting answers. Bestbuy claims more than 2000 feet, or is that only if you pay more than the original 300?”

I had mine programmed for my Ford Fob. I have easily 1000 feet maybe more.. Check their website for Viper. I have been impressed with the distance.
