“so here is a two part question First, would this unit work with my brand new 2020 Mazda CX5? and second, does Best Buy install the unit or do i have to find someone else to do it for me? TIA”

I’m not an expert, but this device worked on my mazda 3 2015. I don’t see any reason for it not to work on your mazda. And yes Best Buy install it’s but you may have to call in advance and see which location have the technicians that are capable of installing the remote start. If you purchased the remote start through Best Buy, Best Buy should be able to install it for free.
