Yes. Mine connected to my Smartphone will no problem, but the install guy couldn't get it to connect to my tablet. The next day at home, I got it to connect to my tablet on the 5th try. so I think it was a timing issue as to him not doing the steps quick enough, nor me at first, on the first failures because when I got amiliar with the steps & did them quick it connected..
