“Does this require power locks? I have a 2019 wrangler base with manual locks (2 door)”

I don’t know. For sure it does if you want to use the unlock feature but probably not just to start your car. But ask the people who install them at Best Buy as they seem to be experts.

Have it installed, they might be able to add power locks but I don't think you need them. Why are you installing remote start when all you need is an alarm. This remote start is not an alarm it piggy backs your factory alarm/computer thats all. There is a module add on for an alarm. It has a lousy remote so you will have to spend $175 for a two way remote. Believe me using your phone to open your car is not fun. Very slow response.
