the installation specialist at best buy can give you the best recommendations but my car is manual too it works for me but i already had an alarm that locked/unlocked my car so it wasnt an issue when i got this new alarm it might cost extra for them to do it cause it would need the parts if u want the alarm to lock/unlock when u arm/disarm the alarm
