• Metal Graphite is more like a black matte finish and some have described it as resembling the color of lead and the black stainless is similar to the etching one would see in the etching of stainless steel. It is black in color and slightly shiny.

• Black stainless has the look of stainless, only it's almost black. Graphite is more greyish.

• It is just a stainless steel with a protective coating of polymer plastic that creates the black matte finish. It is just cosmetic for blending in with some kitchens.
