Please try again later.I use this blender mostly for smoothies post work out and it does a really really good job grinding up the ice cubes I just use the ice from my freezer and with my old blender they would just be chunky... This blender literally chops it all up nicely. I don't know the exact height but there are different sizes you can interchange the one that comes with this blender is 48oz...... and is plastic but heavy duty for sure!
