The recording time/storage depends on the size of the memory card, resolution, using sound, lighting etc. This camera supports class 10 or above SD card, max 128GB, so you should have ample storage. It depends on the size of the SD card you use.The higher the card number the more record time you will get.128gb is the most you can use on this camcorder.If you look them up on amazon you can see how much time each card will hold.

The maximum time largely depends on the battery.
