Hi Nancy, thank you for reaching out to us. The battery life of the camera depends on many factors, like if you are capturing pictures or videos, if you are using audio, or capturing sound, using the flash, the resolution set etc. This camera needs to be charged for around 3-4 hours for a full charge.
