• It should have no problems with Vizio. it works fine with my Vizio E48.

• If the TV has an optical connection you can connect it that way. With that connection no matter the Input, everything sounds through the sounds bar.

• We appreciate your interest. The sound bar has a digital coaxial audio connection, optical audio input, 3.5mm connection and a red and white RCA audio input. These can be used for connecting devices, including the D50u-D1. Thanks! -Randal
