I would probably recommend getting a subwoofer if you're really serious about bass. That being said, the built in bass works well enough for me and when I play music on it I don't have any issues with the quality. I haven't felt the need to buy the subwoofer yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can certainly say that after many hours of researching a sound bar for my personal use, that I am extremely pleased with this device. I wanted a sound bar that sounded great like a Bose, but at a price that was more affordable. For the entry point price, the sound bar has rich and adjustable treble and a very surprising full bass sound. The bass is adjustable as well. For the cost versus sound quality, it is exceptional. Understand that I have placed it in a 12' x 12' sized game room where I wanted to enhance the sound of gaming and movie watching and was thinking that I would need a subwoofer also, but it as enough bass to rattle the windows. Obviously it is not to be compared to a 15" Cerwin Vega, but for a small to midsize room you should be pleased. If you are placing it in a very large sized room you may still want to purchase a larger subwoofer. Don't take my word for it, your local best buy should have a floor model for you to try. That is what I did and found it to have a very high quality sound for the price tag. I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't buy a Subwoofer right away, try it without, I don't turn it up past the second interval or it will blow me out of the kitchen.
