This is a pretty slim soundbar at only 2.13" tall which to me is very thin and I think that it should work but you need to measure you area you are placing it. That said, acoustically I do not recommend this. Speakers sound best when at ear level and have a clean line of sight to you and your listening area. Things like subwoofers are not usually directional in sound which is why they are placed on the floor and out of sight at times. Also, if you live in an apartment or something and have people living below you, you could be putting a soundbar on their ceiling and have noise complaints. Look into universal sound bar mounts too, that worked for my placement issues.
