If I hooked up my ATT 750 kb internet service to mine, I would probably only get about 240. I would call your internet provider and ask how high the audio and data stream is that they are sending to you, and also check the Vizio owners manual for proper settings for accepting internet data to the Vizio.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Need a little more information to answer this correctly.... Do you Pay For HDTV? I know that sounds like a silly question, but you have to have got a HD cable BOX from your TV company. Are you watching Netflix, and that is what is showing '480' ? ( when you watch Netflix you can pick info on your remote and it will show the rate that it is playing the movie, and you will notice that it will sometimes go up and down, depending on your connections bandwidth ) Overall the Ethernet Cable connection is only used for the SmartTV portion of the TV. In other words to Run the APPS, like YouTube and Netfilix, it doesn't affect regular TV channels. When you cannot view YouTube or Netflix videos at 1080, then that is Totally related to the Speed Of Your Internet Connection.
