there must be a problem mine has never turned off you might check to see if you have a timer set

Geek squad states that it does it for no reason and they are UNSURE and it has not caused any problems or complications to programming or any thing else with the TV. I would say that IF IT BECOMES TO CONSTANT 1 OR 2 TIMES PER WEEK. THEN HAVE IT LOOKED INTO. HOPE YOU HAVE A WARRENTY SEVICE.

In other words, say you have a lamp plugged into the master plug on the surge protector. The television is on another plug, but it's tied to the lamp. So you shut off the lamp, and automatically shut off the television.
