Yes, it will play a video from a USB flash drive that is formatted as FAT32 (it won't read from an hard drive or mp3 player.) The manual says the file must end in a supported file extension (e.g., .mp3, .jpg, etc.) but does not go into specifics on which file types are supported. I did test .avi, .ts, .mpg, .wmv, .mp4, and they all played just fine from the USB drive. I did not have any .mov files to test with, but my guess is that they will also work.
