• Yes, it will play a video from a USB flash drive that is formatted as FAT32 (it won't read from an hard drive or mp3 player.) The manual says the file must end in a supported file extension (e.g., .mp3, .jpg, etc.) but does not go into specifics on which file types are supported. I did test .avi, .ts, .mpg, .wmv, .mp4, and they all played just fine from the USB drive. I did not have any .mov files to test with, but my guess is that they will also work.

• USB thumb drive, yes. USB hard drive or MP3 player, no. Music and image formats .mp3 and .jpg are mentioned on page of the User Guide. And there is an odd reference to mpeg files on page 26. But no comprehensive list appears so I would contact tech support: http://support.vizio.com/ Good luck.

• Yes and if you have a NAS or a hard drive attached to your router, it can play video via this method too.
