Honestly, HD Anternnas don't work well because they may not be picked up by any of the inputs to the TV. Antennas are mostly all the same. They are not reliable and signals will go in and out. The Vizio does pick up your router wirelessly and the signal is strong. I use YouTubeTV to access all local channels. The Vizio smart TV also has an assortment of free channels like Pluto. You may pick up one or two channels through an Antenna, if the set recognizes the Antenna (some models do and some don't). Generally the larger Vizios over 24 inches are more reliable. The larger Vizios will access the Internet by wire, but the only way to get a signal on the 24 inch model is wirelessly. Setting up the 24 inch Vizio for wireless isn't difficult at all, so long as you know the passphrase to your router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are many great options out there for antennas that connect to the TV, too many to recommend just one!
