If you connect to the TV through the HDMI cable from a DVD player or cable box that has an HDMI output, the TV show/movie will broadcast at the resolution of the show.

However, the TV does not have an alarm clock.....I wish it did! It has sleep timers and blank screen features and it has an inactive timer so if there is no signal it turns itself off which is energy saving and nice to have. My cable box powers it on for me so I don't notice the lack of an alarm clock on it.

A:Answer3D is tough tough tough to find now. I’m getting the last 3D tv Sony ever made its coming tomorrow. The z9D I’m replacing my 2015 Lg oled 3D tv, actually Best Buy is replacing my tv with the z9D because I got burn in on my screen. The warranty paid off huge. Unfortunately you are gonna really have to look hard for a 3D tv anymore. It’s honestly sad
