• Yes. I have it in my 13x16 living room and I have the volume 1/3 and it fills the room.

• yes, I have it in my second story loft and it is more than adequate to fill that big room.

• Maybe .. maybe not. Depends on how small. Mine sounds good in a decent sized bedroom. You also have the option of adding a subwoofer at a later date (soundbar has a sub out connector).
