If I hook this soundbar up to his TV with an optical cable, is it possible to pair it with his Bluetooth enabled hearing aids at same time and get the TV soundtrack simultaneously transmitted to his hearing aids at same time as it is coming out of soundbar? In other words can you connect the soundbar to TV with a cable at same time it's paired to a different Bluetooth device and thus get the TV soundtrack being playing through the soundbar to also be transmitted to a Bluetooth device paired up with the soundbar INSTEAD of the more common usage of a paired bluetooth device transmitting content (like music files) to be played by the soundbar? No, as others have said, this soundbar can only receive a Bluetooth signal, not transmit one. You need something like this device: ClearSounds - Stereo TV Bluetooth Transmitter, Model: CLS-CS-QLINK SKU: 6550046, which I assume would be able to pair with your father's hearing aid. But I I would also double-check the hearing aid specs/manual and/or call the manufacturer (and probably ClearSounds we well) to verify that.
