• I would say probably yes, I have a 2015 model Vizio TV and my TV remote automatically started adjusting the sound on the soundbar without me having to set anything up.

• Yes. Run the output wires from the TV to the soundbar - not from your cable box.

• Yes. I was immediately able to use my Comcast remote to adjust volume using the soundbar. Assume a tv remote would work also.
