• If there is anything between the soundbar and the ceiling of your room then it will impact the Dolby Atmos sound effects. The upward firing speakers fire up and forward from the soundbar to bounce off your ceiling and down to where you are sitting. As a result you shouldn't have anything directly above the soundbar. The soundbar should be placed slightly forward from the television.

• You can mount the sound bar under the television however there is a recommended distance on the wall mounting template to fit your needs.
