Is this a smart tv? null

It doesn’t have the apps pre-installed but you can sometimes use your phone or laptop to stream on your tv from hulu, youtube, netflix and chromecast app. I say sometimes, because most of the time it will allow you to and then there are times for no apparent reason that it wont cast. When it doesnt want to work, if it even sends a signal to your tv it will stay stuck on a Ready to Cast screen with no luck. Even after updating it each device, deleting and reinstalling the apps on each of them on and still when it doesnt want to work it wont. The Vizio Remote app doesnt allow you to use the apps through there either for this tv series nor does it always stay link to your computer as a remote even if you select it to do so. In short, this tv is great for basic, slightly modern, usage. It still has great imagery. I use a basic dvd player- not even blu-ray, and the image quality is still amazing.
