“Trying to connect the tv via coax cable and it won't work. tried running the tuner and it came back no channels found. very frustrating. any suggestions”

If you can, trouble shoot with a second, known working, tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on the signal source. Just out of a wall f-cable "out," you won't get anything. You need some device (i.e. antenna) that is able to receive the channels and convert the signal to a format that the tuner can receove.
