• You can use a regular tv box you dont need WiFi

• This TV has composite input,s two HDMI ports and an F coax hook up. If your box has any of these connections it will work. There are only a limited number of internet apps on this set.

• You can just hook it up to cable, but you will not be able to use YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc

• Yes, you can use it just as a television with no Wifi which is only used when using the Smart TV fucntions.
