I love this television it's the perfect size for your bedroom and it's so easy to use

This is my first VIZIO TV. I purchased this TV from the clearance rack simply because the price/size was right. It also met an immediate need that I had. Set up was painless and quick. Colors are bright and vivid. The sound quality is acceptable. A sound bar or home theater system would make listening easier. I didn't like the stand. I prefer a pedestal over the angle legs at each end. It becomes a mute point if it is wall mounted. As this is a smart TV I would have liked it better if the bloat ware apps were gone. Navigation in the smart realm is fairly easy with the remote. Being a tech savvy guy I will be finding a portable keyboard to see how it improves the experience.

I bought this Tv as a Black Friday sale, this tv is amazing!! Great picture quality, good sound and just looks good in the bedroom! The only thing I didn't like that it only has 2 hdmi connections but other than that it's a great tv

The TV is great even though it was hard to set up on my cable system and the company had to send in a technician to get it going. Otherwise very happy with the picture and I want to get a somewhat larger one for the living room one day.

I love the design and picture quality of this tv plus it's user friendly!

Vizio is one of the best tv I ever bought I heard they where really bad so I had to buy one just to see if it was true now I own 5 vizio tv and I love them all I can say is that vizio is one of a kind super great and fast with the Internet

I absolutely love this tv! It's definitely a great value for your money, a 40' smart tv that was less than $300! Picture quality is amazing and so is sound!

Awesome little TV we purchased for the bedroom. I needed something to fit in a built in cabinet & this just did .. barely! Has a great picture & built in WiFi for us to stream content. Plus I paired it with a VIZIO - SmartCast™ 2.0-Channel Soundbar & it really topped it off. My wife loves this TV :0)

I really didn't know what to expect when purchasing a Visio but we desperately needed a new TV and this was on sale for a great price. The TV comes with the SMART TV feature which was cool and we've been able to connect to our Netflix's, Hulu, Pandora, etc. account with no problem. Picture quality is awesome (especially when we have it on the HD channels). Sounds works perfectly (with no muffling or irritating noises). Design of the television is sleek and was easy to install and mount. Overall, I think this is a great product and I have high hopes for Vizio.

Needed a TV for an outdoor location. Wanted a smart TV. Did a significant amount of online research and this television was the perfect size with the needed features. Picture clarity is excellent. Set-up was intuitive and simple. Smart features very easy to use. A good buy for a reliable product at a good price.

Bought this TV as an upgrade for the kids' video games. Previous model was also a Vizio, but smaller. Had good luck with the previous Vizio and it will continue to be used as a bedroom TV. The biggest reason I bought this model is because it has line-level phono outputs for audio. Most other sets I looked at in this size had digital out or headset only. This set hooked up to my old Dolby Pro-Logic amplifier and really improved the sounds of the games from the headphone connection on the old Vizio. The picture is excellent and my kids say the refresh rate is very good for gaming (X-box). Mounting the set on the wall was easy as it is very light. I would definitely buy the set again.

We have been living with a tiny TV in our living room for years. My three sons watch shows and play Xbox, and the small size did not bother me. We just got this 40" Smart TV and WOW! Great price and the gaming and TV watching is lightyears ahead of where we were! Basketball players are no longer just specks on the screen! Easy to install, smart functions work great --- 3 happy boys plus mom

This was a great addition to our basement workout exercise area! We love the smart features of the TV and the sound and quality are excellent! Only downfall is we do not care for the feet that are on the bottom of it but it worked out fine for where we had placed it. Vizio is a great brand ...2nd one we have in our home now.

Was in the market to upgrade my living room TV to something with a bigger picture without breaking the bank. I know there are differences nowadays between TV manufacturers like Samsung, Sony, and now Vizio, but I must say, I'm really impressed with this 40 inch set. It really has a 120Hrz refresh rate (not a pretend one like other TV's have, but it does pretend to have a 240Hrz refresh rate). It did take me a while to fine tune the picture to something I liked as the colors can be awkward at first (skin tones looked orange at first), but now I'm very pleased and also enjoy the built in apps as well!

So far this TV is great, great sound, great picture quality and very easy to operate. The only thing that i am not impressed with was the TV remote, the only thing that i use it for is the smart TV apps, however it feels cheap and it does not have the keyboard on the back like some of the other Vizio remotes, making it a little harder to type in stuff. The other thing that is a little frustrating, which could just be me being used to the Samsung Smart TV, but it does not show the recent apps that you used when you first go into the smart tv and i am a big Pandora user and i have to go and search it every time as it just shows the same apps, and it is Yahoo apps on the main screen. Other than those 2 things, everything else is great so far. I may come back in a few months-6 months and edit my review if i come across anything else. Great buy, great quality and very easy to set up.

TV is great and at an amazing price! Glad I went with this one instead of the Samsung on, this one has a much higher refresh rate and picture as a whole. SmartTV is great for watching your YouTube and Netflix videos on. Great for watching DirecTV as well.

I was looking for a TV for my bedroom and this is a great TV for the price. It was easy to set up and the picture is great. I had to temporarily connect a component video hookup and the TV has one and it really does not say it on the box if you look.

I purchased this TV as a Christmas present for my daughter. The TV is connected via ethernet cable via Powerline Networking because that is predominantly what she be doing with this TV (Streaming TV Shows and Movies via Netflix). TV set up was relatively straightforward and within 10 minutes of unboxing it was good to go. Color and sound are adequate to pretty good. Initially the two feet keep the unit steadier than the center mount you get on most TVs. We have since mounted it on her wall via a separately purchased wall mount. Purchasing through Best Buy is always great and the price match was even better! For less than $300 this is a very nice bedroom TV and I am sure you can do better, but you'll pay maybe 50% more. That is why it gets 4 out of five stars because it is not perfect, but I do highly recommend this TV.
