• A:Answer I only use streaming but Dish or Direct TV would work in my opinion. I have a Samsung Blue Ray hooked to my Visio and it works fine. Just one HDMI cable. Sound is excellent as is the picture.

• A:Answer Fine enough, but if it's a real concern....a very inexpensive sound bar ($60) will provide FAR greater sound than even the best of built-in TV speakers (TVs in excess of $3000). That being said, the dialog is clear, which is, in my opinion, the biggest failure of most built-in TV speakers.

• A:Answer It appears there is no Vizio V405-H11 model. There is a V435-H11 however, and the difference is the V435-H11 is 43", whereas the V405-H19 is a 40".
