• Works with cable/satelite but needs an external tuner to receive over-the-air channels using an antenna.

• They do have multiple HDMI inputs for cable box and satellite just no built in tuner for over the air channels.

• We have ours hooked up to the FIOS box the same way we would hook up cable.

• Yes, the VIZIO SmartCast™ E43U-D2 is compatible with existing cable service. This VIZIO Home Theater Display no longer includes connection for a coaxial cord. • You can connect any cable/satellite box that uses HDMI or Component cabling. This TV however does not have the traditional F81 connector used for antenna or coaxial connections because it doesn’t have a channel tuner.
