No internet cable runs to the tv. Your phone connects to the tv through wifi. In theory, if you have your phone switched to wifi the tv will show in your available "networks". You will still stream with data, but your connection to the tv is from a wifi connection between devices, like Bluetooth would. I would save the extra $70 a month and just run Netflix and things from the phone. This is sure to tax your data though.
