“after reading many of these questions and answers I seem to be confused ...some one said a cable box would not give you the full benefits of your 4k tv because it goes up to 1080p only...so my question is how do you get your 4k tv to the full 2160p .?”

Satellite and cable providers are still in the early stages of offering 4k live and on demand. However, you can watch 4k video using a Blu-ray player or by accessing 4k content using your computer (via streaming sites or downloaded files).
