It has a basic remote that works just fine. I use it with a cable HD box that has all the remote you need.

For specific picture adjustments, or network/app access, you will need to pair it with your smartphone or tablet. With this, when paired, you use your smartphone or tablet as your control to Cast apps to the display to view them. Thanks again and have a great day!
