• The display can only show the resolution it is receiving. 4K content can be viewed through streaming services or by watching 4K disc's on a 4K player.

• the tv is just a receiver do you have to make sure that what you are watching is 4k

• It is because whatever you are watching is not in 4k. If you subscribed to Netflix 4K ($12/mo) it would say "2160p"
