“Why won't Facebook work properly on my new Vizio E48C2 Smart TV? I just purchased this 48" Vizio 'smart' TV. I am able to login to my FB account on it but it only displays my profile picture and the last words that I posted which happen to be "RIP" referring to John Lennon's death. I am able to post comments but there is no feed or news or anything but a picture of me with the words "RIP" underneath it. This would bother some people. Any suggestions on how to view FB as I would on my computer?”

During a recent automatic software update, the FB app was removed from the App menu by the manufacturer. From what I've read it never actually worked, so now it is gone.
