• When both a TV and a sound bar have an HDMI ARC connection, you will be able to connect the sound bar and the TV together with those ports using an HDMI cord. Next you can connect your satellite box to the sound bar's HDMI IN port with a 2nd HDMI cord as well. This will create what is called a pass-through. You will be able to have picture and audio through the same input on your TV that the sound bar and satellite box are attached to.
