Will the ARC work on a LG CX? null

It works via hdmi arc HOWEVER, I cannot for the life of me get the CEC to work. So I still have to use the vizio remote for volume control because my cx remote will not control it for some reason

I recently bought a LG NanoCell Series and it works perfectly
