“i I hooked my system up as instructed and works fine with the direct tv box but when i switch to net flix on my smart tv the sound from the direct tv keeps playing and seems to over ride the net flix sound thanks”

We found that when we switch between apps we have to hit the source button for aux and enter/play and it switches with our choice. Hope that helps.

If you have connected the DirecTV box directly to the sound bar you would need to change the sound bar input to receive audio from your television. If using the ARC connection we recommend connecting your cable box to the television and sending the audio to the television over HDMI.
