• Hello, Beth. Any soundbar can work with any TV since the connections to the TV are universal connections like HDMI, optical, etc. The fact I have a Vizio TV and got this Vizio soundbar is a coincidence and there have been no extra features for me that I have discovered.

• I could not get a reliable connection to my Samsung RU8000. But, the problem might be the TV. I will have to see how to fix the problem. However, the Vizio is a very good soundbar
