There is no onscreen menu on the main system. That is more reserved for the SmartCast app, and a smaller menu is available on the actual remote.

Not on my Sony Bravia tv. There is an app to use, but the remote works pretty well but is very simple. Not sure if this is different on a Vizio TV.

This sound bar has a remote with an LCD display or your can pair it with the VIZIO Smartcast app in your app store for a full function on screen menu on your mobile device.
