A:Answer CEC is the ARC, so yes... but... to have ATMOS sound through the bar, whatever it is you are sending through the bar must be encoded with the DOLBY Atmos True HD. What comes through your sound bar is what is encoded. If you have a blu ray player whatever the blu ray movie is encoded will play. If it doesn't state DOLBY ATMOS then you won't get the Atmos sound. On the bar's remote select input for HDMI ARC and be sure the HDMI cable is plugged into the ARC on the back of your sound bar. Plug the HDMI from your player into the HDMI IN on the back of your sound bar, and when using your player, switch the input on the remote to HDMI IN from HDMI ARC. If you want to know what the sound bar is running, use the menu button on the remote and under INFO press OK and the bar will state what audio system sound it is running.
