I'll put it this way, As a subscriber to 4 stream services, having all cable channels on fios & buying 4k films on vudu, NOT 1 MOVIE IVE EVER SEEN USES DTsX. read the specs and browse slit but still never found dts. Its only a big deal i guess if you watch and buy lots of dts specific 4k blurays but most content is atmos now. I remember dts being a thing over a decade ago when i worked in a theatre,. I think its just a dying tech and dolby atmos is where audio is headed. System is a steal at this price. The bar does support dts hd tho. Majority of all content is 5.1 or dolby digital plus which works pn here and sounds good
