CAN 4K VIDEO AND SOUND PLAY THROUGH THE SOUNDBAR? null

Yes it can. There is 1 HDMI input that will support the 4K passthrough. It also has an HDMI ARC input that connects ARC enabled TV's to the other sources. I use the HDMI input for my UHD BluRay player and all other connections from the TV via ARC.

HDR and Atmos audio at the same time will likely be too much bandwidth, but regular 4K should work fine with Atmos content.
