“I have traditional rear surround speakers with in-wall wiring with traditional receiver as source. Can the Vizio rear speakers use the existing in-wall wires for connecting to the Vizio subwoofer? Perhaps need to fit proper connection terminal.”

Yes, you will need to cut you wire and somehow attach it to the Vizio wire that run to the sub. The only issue could be the impedance of the speakers you already have! They may no match the impedance of the Vizio system!
