“Have this system paired with a Sony 950G, set up just as instructed on manual. But when playing a 4k, reg. blu ray, the tv displays “unsupported audio signal, check device output” throughout the movie. Done everything possible, please help before I return”

Does your tv have "ARC"? If so try to run HDMI from TV ARC to soundbar ARC and 4K player HDMI to "HDMI input" on sound bar. Set soundbar to ARC input. Reboot everything. Also double check that digital audio out signal form both TV and player are set to Bitstream. Otherwise Google knows all, or look on AVS forums (home theater forum) or post your question there.
