“Does this sound bar need to be plugged into the wall for power or can it be plugged into the TV for power?”

• The sound bar DOES need to be plugged in to 110ac power to work. I just plugged mine into my surge protector that is running the tv, xbox, blu-ray and dvr

• I plugged mine into the wall plug. You also have to plug the subwoofer into a wall plug.
