Most universal tv remotes should work just fine. I was able to control the volume just fine with the remote from my TiVo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes ,follow the instructions ,use the arc hdmi port from tv to soundbar.This way the sound bar turns on automatically when the tv is turned on.Im figuring most tvs have the arc system now,my 3 year old tv does. Hope this helps.
