From what I remember, the entire back of the remote slides off, but it's not the easiest process. It's one of those...push on one end and slide it down and then flip it off...physically speaking. I haven't looked, but those instruction elements should have been included in the beginning section of the owners manual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Place the remote between your hands, with the keypad in one palm and the case cover in the other. Slide the whole back cover down about a quarter inch and remove the entire cover. The battery compartment is now accessible.
