• Yes you can really use any size TV are the size on the sound bar is just how big the sound bar is the bigger the better the sound

• Yes. I have this 38in 5.1 system with my Vizio 60in TV and it sounds great. The main difference between the Vizio soundbars are the lengths. Of course they recommend a bigger size (more expensive) soundbar for your bigger TV but it comes back to your decorative preferences. Measure your room and TV and imagine the soundbar's length on the room. It also depends on the room dimensions and acoustics. Go to Vizio's website for audio tutorials. My room is 11x11ft (small) with a 60in smart TV, so the 38in 5.1 system sound great.
