• I believe you should be able to because there are many different connection on the back and you can use the remote to switch to the connection that the DVD player is connected to. Just double check that the soundbar has a connection for your DVD player.

• No, it cannot be directly connected to a DVD player, but it can be connected to the TV directly via optical or HDMI arc audio out.

• I don't see why not. Your in control of what you connect to it, and there are options, like my ps4 has an optical out, this has an optical in, so it plays on that input. My tv is on one of the hdmi, and blue ray on a different hdmi, So you can use whichever input for different devices.
