Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not an expert by any means so can only comment briefly on my experience. I have a LG soundbar connected to this Visio. It works and sounds fine and is not connected via HDMI. Mine is connected by one of the audio outputs. I am not sure if there was the option to connect it differently.
