“I was talked into purchasing this TV and it does not have directions to hook it up in English. I got a purple picture? Don't how what I did wrong. It is too big for current stand. Can it be mounted on wall? Does it require a router or something?”

not sure what to say about the other stuff, but yes you can wall mount it. Ours is.

When setting the TV up at the very beginning it should give language options of English, Spanish, or French.
