Best Buy will take your old TV, assuming you have it delivered, otherwise you may be able to take it in to your local store (may want to call). You'll need to pay for Geek Squad Home Theater Installation for them to mount it to your wall. Unless something has changed, basic delivery only allows them to put in on a stand and plug it in.

I was told it was free to bring a old tv in for recycling and also Best Buy employee told me it was so I went home and got my tv and drove all the way back and was told once I was there that it was 25 dollars for them to take your tv. Your better off to post it for free in Craigslist etc
